A 3-hour spectacle that redefined what is possible in the Balkans. 2,000+ spectators, 40 world-class models, 10 VIP runways, 5 live performances, and a prestigious 10-member international jury — all set against the Ionian Sea.
The Sarande 2025 edition marked a turning point for IFWA. We broke tradition by designing 10 VIP runways, ensuring every guest felt the pulse of the fabric and the energy of the walk. International press coverage reached new highs, with journalists from Italy, Greece, and Germany attending. Highlights included a closing gala and an awards ceremony recognizing the Best Emerging Albanian Designer.

A refined indoor showcase dedicated to autumn/winter collections. Ten designers presented bold silhouettes and rich textures to an invited audience of 600, with a special spotlight on emerging Albanian fashion school talent.
IFWA's first dedicated cold-season runway. Held at an elegantly transformed industrial space in Shijak, the evening featured structured tailoring, luxurious knits, and conceptual streetwear. A special segment spotlighted three student designers from Albanian fashion schools, offering them their first professional runway experience. The event concluded with a panel discussion on sustainable fashion practices in the Western Balkans.

IFWA's landmark Sarande debut — the first event outside Tirana. 700 guests, 10 designers, and a dramatic sunset finale on the waterfront promenade that established Sarande as a credible fashion destination.
The 2024 Sarande edition signaled IFWA's growth and ambition to represent all of Albania's beauty. The coastal runway drew national media attention and over 1,200 social media posts were generated during the event weekend, making it IFWA's most viral edition to date at the time.
